Peter Ouma Oloo is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Social Enterprise Society of Kenya (SESOK). Peter is responsible for the development of SESOK’S new initiatives as well as its capacity and investment strategy and tools. He oversees a leading multi-skilled motivated team of professionals and entrepreneurs to carry out SESOK’S goals while maximizing the organization’s resources and impact.

 

Peter is currently an Advisory Board Member - Education For All Children (EFAC), a Board Member - Lake Victoria Sustainable Development Center (LVSDC), and a Director - Shekkas Company Ltd. Peter also served as the Executive Director of KOICA Alumni Kenya Chapter (KAKC).

An innovative, creative professional, with over 20 years of experience across both the Government and Corporate spheres. Mapitso Dlepu is currently the Head of Corporate Social Investment for the South African Maritime Safety Authority. Her previous positions include being a Public Affairs Manager at Transnet Foundation, Marketing & Brand Manager for PRASA and a Spokesperson for the Gauteng Department of Sports, Recreation Arts and Culture.

Among her educational achievements, she holds a Master’s Degree in Business Leadership, Certification in Business Sustainability Management from University of Cambridge and participated in the Prince of Wales Business and Sustainability Programme;  University of Cambridge .

Roberto A Arructia is the Founder and Director at the Global School of Social Leaders and the Social Innovation Agency. Prior to founding the Global Social School for Leaders in August 2012, Roberto was a Professor at PCTE Group of Institutes in 2012. He was a Director at Universal Television from 2010-2011. He has vast experience working with NGO’s Social Entrepreneurs and activities across 10 countries in 4 continents.

Prof. Raphael graduated with a PhD on “The Impact of Trade Policy on the Competitiveness of Firms” at the University of Bradford, United Kingdom in 1997. His current research interests are: Blue Oceans and Economic Development; African Union Agenda 2063 – A Framework for Development; Incubation as a Strategy for Enterprise Development; Youth Entrepreneurship; Entrepreneurship for Millennials and Social Entrepreneurship as a Strategy for Community and Economic Development.

 

He is a senior manager, currently the Acting Executive Dean and CEO of the Graduate School of Business Leadership at the University of South Africa, while substantively the Deputy Executive Dean of the College of Economic and Management Sciences from February 2013. His experience is in the field of finance where he has worked and consulted in a number of JSE/FTSE top listed companies

Mmabatho is an entrepreneur, a humanist and an academic. She is currently reading for Masters in Management, in the field of Governance, specialising in Public Policy. She holds a BCom Honours degree in Business Management, a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and a certificate in Marketing Management.

 

Mmabatho founded Tea Tree & CO, an interior decor studio offering collections of luxurious decor pieces, accent furniture, silk flowers and modern and contemporary artworks for the discerning clientele. She also founded MM Foundation, an NGO that worked with poor and excluded communities in Diepsloot.

Dr Rebone is a qualified Research Psychologist, with PhD in Organisational Behaviour (University of Pretoria). She worked for the University of Pretoria as a lecturer in research methodology, social psychology and behavioural economics.  and successfully developed programmes for schools, health departments, higher education and business etc. She published chapters in books, articles and collaborated international cross cultural tax behaviour project with 44 countries.

 

As Director at Impact Research International, Dr Rebone conducted national, organisational research and programmes for a number of international and national organisations.

 

She is currently and executive responsible for Policy Research with Tax and Compliance and Excise Institute. Her role is to study the effects of changing tax, customs, and excise policies on revenue, tax compliance levels and  to study behaviours central to public policy.
